The Kipper House is a wonderfully peaceful holiday home right on the coast and just 20 minutes away from Edinburgh by train. It's a comfortable, cosy, simple seaside cottage, perfect for couples, families or small groups of friends looking for a quiet getaway. Â
To note...
- Peak/High Season: We only let the cottage for full weeks, Sunday to Sunday, from the end of April until late September.  A discount is applied to the daily rates to account for a full week's stay.
- Low/Mid Season: Short stays - minimum 3 nights. Discounts are applied to the daily rates for 4 nights and longer.
- The Kipper House garden is fenced and is adjacent to our own garden where we keep four pet hens who may stray into The Kipper Garden.  If you hate birds or are anxious about your dog, this may not suit you. Â
- The Kipper House shower is over the bathtub which is extra deep so may be difficult to use if any of your party has mobility issues.  There is only one WC.
